Build your career in modern wood construction in Finland

We are looking for Roof Element Production Workers / Carpenters to join a modern wood element factory in Pälkäne, Finland.

In this role, you will work in an indoor production environment manufacturing large wooden roof elements and panels for demanding construction projects. The work is hands-on, technical and physically active.

We are looking for several motivated people with practical construction experience who are ready to start as soon as possible, ideally around the end of October or beginning of November.

Your role as Roof Element Production Worker / Carpenter

As part of a skilled production team, you will help manufacture and finish wooden roof elements in a factory environment.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

👉 Assembling and fastening wooden structures, roof elements and panels according to technical drawings and work instructions
👉 Working with pneumatic tools such as nail guns, staplers and screwdrivers, as well as other hand and power tools
👉 Handling insulation materials, sheet materials and roof coverings safely and efficiently
👉 Participating in bitumen waterproofing work, including heating and gluing bitumen after completing the required Finnish hot work training
👉 Following safety instructions, using personal protective equipment and maintaining a clean and organised workplace
👉 Cooperating with supervisors and colleagues to achieve daily production and quality targets

All work is performed inside the factory. Separate installation teams are responsible for on-site assembly at construction sites.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for practical and motivated people who enjoy physical work, technical tasks and teamwork.

We expect you to have:

👉 At least 6–12 months of practical construction work experience
👉 Ability to read and understand technical drawings
👉 Experience using construction, woodworking or similar hand and power tools
👉 Good physical condition and readiness to work in a production environment
👉 Basic English skills for workplace communication and safety instructions

👉 Right to work in Finland

Formal vocational education is not essential if you already have relevant practical construction experience and can read technical drawings.

Previous experience with pneumatic tools, roofing, timber construction, factory production or bitumen work is considered an advantage.

A Finnish hot work card is also an advantage. If required for your tasks, support can be provided for completing the necessary training.

We offer:

👉 Fixed-term employment for approximately 3–6 months
👉 Start as soon as possible, preferably around the end of October / beginning of November
👉 Starting salary: €12.20/hour
👉 After the first salary review, the hourly rate increases to €13.10/hour
👉 A further increase to approximately €13.50/hour is planned, with salary levels continuing to be reviewed thereafter
